Job Purpose:

Expert in classical BPC as well as SAC Planning system & to be able to provide technical support to IT team.

Able to write & modify/optimize complex BPC scripts to meet specialized needs.

Able to understand, debug and help maintain the BADIs in SAP.

Senior SAP Consultant with extensive experience in implementation and support of BPC system in Oil and Gas industry.

Experience in multiple SAP BPC projects (New Implementations/Upgrades).

Experience in SAP BPC script development best practices.

Experience in BPC workflows.

Experience in S4 HANA would be beneficial (Fiori apps).

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key BPC resource for IT team to help define, estimate, and propose & implement solution.
Candidate will do BPC system enhancements, support, and documentation.
Maintain the SAP BPC application components (application sets, dimensions, reports, script logic, etc.) to support existing developments.
Understanding of best practices and put in the same in process diagrams.
Support for business users testing, fixing UAT issues and testing the fixes.
Troubleshoot data issues between source and target systems.
Provide solution to the technical issues.

Educational Qualification
A Bachelors degree in computer science or Accounting / Commerce
Certified in BPC and SAC Planning

Required Professional Qualifications/Skills
Detailed understanding of data structures and master & transactional data.
In-depth hands-on knowledge in maintaining and updating BPC system enhancements and changes.
Strong and in-depth data modelling and financial systems knowledge.
Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills preferably Energy related industry.
Strong knowledge of SAP-FICO modules, Cost Centres, Cost Elements, Profit Centres, Internal Orders.
Working experience in the BW, data warehousing, S4 Hana, etc.
Experience in an IT System Analyst role in planning, designing, implementing, and supporting, Reporting & Analytic solutions related to Corporate Finance in an SAP environment.

In-depth understanding of cross-system & cross-platform data flows (extractions, data loads, data moves, etc.).
Strong financial knowledge to facilitate detailed day to day analysis, reconciliation, error fixing and modelling tasks.
Working knowledge of Advanced features of MS Office, SharePoint, and other tools.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well on cross-functional finance teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
