Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years experience with medium and large with high complex FEED/EPC contracts primarily in the energy business and having exposure to managing major and first tier EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors in the oil and gas industry
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
- This role conducts technical evaluations of EPC tender for large, capital projects, including risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues, which may have a significant commercial impact on project execution, ensuring they are compliant, technically qualifies and consistent with project requirements.
- Major challenges for this role are (1) effectively managing EPC contract in brownfield environment to deliver technical input in accordance with project requirements from contract award until delivery of Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC), (2) maintaining constructive working relationship with FEED/EPC contractor to ensure delivery of engineering work scope in accordance with contractor to ensure delivery of engineering work scope in accordance with project requirements and (3) maintaining relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Operations and SHEQ) to ensure alignment of Project deliverables.
