Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

  • Impact the HSE culture and values of Client influencing all employees in Client  and all its contractors (around 5000 employees and 25,000 contractors). Able to deliver on multiple fronts and dynamically adapt HSE campaigns based on changing trends.
  • Influence the work practices of the workforce (contractors) who have little knowledge with Company Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture and safety standards.
  • Functionally coordinate the activities of 200 IIF coaches across the Company.
  • Would require to work onshore and offshore within operational environment

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Develop, plan and coordinate HSE&Q programs and safety campaigns based on trends and business needs to ensure the safety and welfare of all employees and contractors within Company assets and projects.
  • Ensure Incident and Injury Free (IIF) Culture through training, campaigns and on-site coaching and embed IIF principles within the working culture of Company.
  • Coordinate the IIF Champions/ observers program where site audits are conducted using checklists that are developed based on Safety statistics and trends. Training new coaches and providing various forms of feedback about the results of these audits to individuals and groups to positively change safety-related attitudes and behaviours.
  • Maintain HSE&Q policy & procedures and standards based on industry best practices and international standard.
  • Coordinate the Life Saving Rules Program implementation and refreshers for all Company employees and contractors.
  • Issue reports including Incident reporting, stop process and a safety observation program by working with Safety and Risk Division to meet HSE&Q set KPIs.
  • Drive stops work authority implantation across sire ensuring workers are empowered to speak up and supervisors provide the required support.
  • Deliver fundamentals of safety training for first line supervisors and leading with safety training to senior managers.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety culture surveys to measure the health of the safety culture in Client .

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a HSEQ discipline.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 8 years experience in Operational or Safety within Oil and Gas with 3 years safety behavioural experience.
