- Lead the Corrosion Engineering activities for North Field Expansion (NFXP) Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide design support to NFE Offshore Engineering Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
- Provide extensive knowledge and understanding on the requirements of ECPI, communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the contractor. Collaborate across disciplines (including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, Umbilical, HSSE and Risk), and monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the work scope.
- Participate to key design workshop and ensure that materials recommendation is correctly implemented, and actions closed before the end of EPCI (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
- Supervises the Engineering interface between the for materials/corrosion for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) and Pipeline engineering and the following teams: Operations, Drilling, Well Management, the Jacket, the pipelines from the topsides perspective, the Onshore Project Team.
- Supports NFE Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractors progress on delivery of the required documents in the materials/corrosion of Topsides and Pipeline disciplines.
- Required Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, other qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as Materials/corrosion Lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
- Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
