Job Description Highlights:

  • Reviews the procurement activities of contractor with those of the PMT to ensure that companys procurement objectives are met with regards to cost, schedule and quality.
  • Stewards contractors performance to ensure their compliance with companys requirements and approved procedures.
  • Review and monitors EPC contractors materials management plans.
  • Works effectively within established policies and procedures and participates in the further development of these to meet changing needs.
  • Reporting to the Division Manager the Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the Topsides, Jackets, and pipeline procurement requirements to ensure objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule and to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with quality standards applicable.
  • Degree or similar, relevant experience may be taken if coupled with HNC/HND, however other qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
  • Co-ordinates all procurement requirements of the Project, to ensure the technical and commercial objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Accountable for project material purchase order process including expediting and delivery within the required project timeline. Interfaces with various project teams and departments to resolve related issues. Requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to induce collaboration. Successful track record in similar roles on large international projects.
