Job Purpose Statement:

We are looking for a skilled Professional Firewall Engineer. The ideal candidate will have

experience in complete Networking, Security understanding of all OSI layers, working knowledge on Firewalls like Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto. The candidate should have Minimum of 8 yrs. Experience in Network Security, Firewall implementation, operations and administration, Azure cloud security

Job Description:

Device health checks, Firmware upgrades, Cluster configuration, interface mapping, and

understanding of network design and architecture

Excellent understanding of network topology, firewall, switches, routers, NIPS, application gateways,

load monitoring, proxy devices etc.

Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating, and

supporting the network security with Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet Firewall.

Knowledge of Cisco FTD, Palo Alto & Fortinet Firewall and strong routing & switching experience is an added advantage

Understanding of overall data center topology and troubleshooting application issues

Expertise in implementing/integrating LAN & WAN technologies, with Layer 2 & Layer 3 networks

with vendor products - CISCO, BigIP, Fortinet, and Palo-alto devices.

Sound Working knowledge on MPLS, LDP, L2VPN & L3VPN VPNs

IEEE 802.2, 802.3 and 802.11 Networks, SD-WAN

Worked on firewalls like Cisco FTD, Fortinet, and Palo-alto.

Switching and Routing (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP) . Excellent knowledge of the principles of

operation and configuration of LAN/WAN services: Switching, Routing, Network security, IPsec, VPN,

DMVPN, DHCP, LOGGING, SNMP, RADIUS, VLAN (802.1q)

understanding of implementation and installation of Switch/Router ACLs, Firewall Policies &

Proxies, Network Access Control (NAC) Systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Security

Information & Event Management (SIEM) Systems, Network Monitoring Systems, Content

Management Systems (Web & Email), AntiVirus/AntiMalware/Advanced Threat Defense Systems or

Software, Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Systems

Knowledge on various DC Architecture (DC-DR, Active-Active DC etc.)

Good team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent

Strong expertise in the Azure Cloud - Security Domain

Qualifications/Certifications/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology 8+ years of directly related work experience in

the field of computer networking & security.

• Certified CCNA, CCNP, Firewall Administration courses, CCIE Security, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet

firewall related expert certifications
