About the job Swimming lifeguard
The general goal of the job is to ensure the safety and security of swimmers and pool visitors and to provide a safe, clean and comfortable swimming environment, by implementing the necessary rescue procedures and providing first aid when needed, in addition to achieving compliance with the required health, security and environmental standards.
Requirements
Certification in First Aid and CPR (BLS) or equivalent required.
4+ years of experience.
A valid certificate as a swimming lifeguard from a recognized institution.
Previous experience as a swimming lifeguard in a controlled aquatic environment.
Knowledge of water safety and first aid procedures and protocols.
Ability to interact effectively with visitors and provide clear instructions and directions.
Physical fitness and ability to swim skillfully.
Adherence to local laws and legislation related to the safety of swimming pools and water areas.
Paying attention to continuous training and developing the necessary skills in the field of water safety.
Good command in English language.
Complete specialized training courses in water safety and rescue, such as:
1. Water Rescue and Lifesaving Course.
2. Advanced First Aid for Water Incidents.
3. Pool Water Biological Safety Course.
