Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in engineering / Computer Science with at least 10 years post degree experience in the related field and industry in a techno-management role and has a widespread knowledge of IT.
May have a postgraduate qualification such as an MSc, MBA, or other appropriate business, engineering, scientific or industry qualification
Required Professional Qualifications/Skills
Proven experience of operating within a large enterprise
Experienced in evaluation of IT requirements and establishing IT Systems and Applications specifically within the Oil and Gas Industry.
7 years experience as IT Project Manager in a similar organization with at least 2 completed end to end projects of value US$ 500K or above.
Knowledge and experience in all PMI knowledge areas (PMBOK) and phased predictive
project management methodology. PMP certification is a plus.
Experience in adaptive Agile Project Management and relevant Agile certification is a plus.
Proven experience in Business Analysis and relevant Business Analysis certification is a plus.
Desirable to have certifications in business processes like BPM, six sigma etc.
Good working experience in Project Management tools like EPM, MS Projects etc.
Familiar with knowledge of the IT/IS infrastructure (examples, but not limited to; databases and LANs) and the IT applications and service processes.
Understanding of standard procurement & contracting procedures, tender documentation package within organization and has some experience in development and negotiation of SLA.

Key Responsibilities:
Concurrently manage multiple IT Projects following the applicable QGMS Processes and procedures
Seeks authorization in the organization, including from the wider leadership community.
Influences stakeholder groups as required to successfully gain their support and commitment.
Maintaining status of the projects portfolio on Enterprise Portfolio Management platform ensuring all projects schedules are up to date, project status artifacts are reported monthly, project lifecycle phase documents uploaded, and gate decisions acquired and reported.
Conduct Business Analysis and felicitate requirement elicitation workshops defining scope with business functional SMEs, interpret stated business requirements into project plan and secure agreement from the project owner/end user as to the scope, budget, and schedule.
Develop technical design documents from inputs from functional SMEs and IT, including UI wireframes, architecture diagrams, workflow process models, drafting business rules etc.
Development and communication of the Project plans, budget forecasts and schedules
Monitors and accounts for IT project expenditure ensuring that all financial targets can be met. Investigate and correct any areas where actual or forecast expenditure deviates.
Maintain documentation for Projects as per applicable procedures and templates and
coordinate to obtain approvals wherever required.
Manage effectively key business and IT stakeholders, meeting & exceeding their expectations.
Ensure On-time and on-budget delivery of IT solution delivering maximum value to end user
Responsible for delivery of solutions to the required acceptable quality and standards
Demonstrate Project team leadership, project personnel resource management, supervision and tracking of assigned tasks including in-house resources and vendor-supplied consultants.
Continuously monitor project progress in terms of the status of the schedule and the budget, providing regular reports to the project owner and other stakeholders
Anticipate, plan for, and identify deviations from the project plan and keep all stakeholders well informed of accurate project status.
Identify, log, analyze and manage potential project risks and existing issues, taking corrective action by dealing with the day-to-day issues and reviewing how more serious risks may impact the projects budget, completion date and quality. Where approved by the project owner, revise the timeline or resource requirements for the project.
Work closely with IT PMO Team and contribute to the governance and monitoring of IT Portfolio, reporting relevant KPIs and providing feedback and suggestions to IT PMO
Supports and develops team members by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
Liaise with other project managers to ensure all the projects requirements are timely met.
Ensure all the periodic information security controls identified as part of projects information security risk assessment are addressed with required satisfactory evidence for risk closeout.
Support and manage outsourced projects tender process including preparation of procurement documents set, researching on potential suppliers / solutions and participation in bidders technical solution evaluation, solution implementation and vendor management.
Support in developing and managing projects related to transformational/ change/ strategic high-impact programs, as assigned by leadership.
Support development of recommendations for optimization for the projects, initiatives and operational entities in scope identifying cross-organizational improvement initiatives targeting cost savings, revenue augmentation, and integration within assets, streamlining of delivery models, and implementing synergies in offerings.
Job Purpose:
To manage and support the IT Program and projects executed by Business Applications department including in-house developed and outsourced vendor driven IT solutions.
Business analysis with functional SMEs across the Company to elicit, conceive and document requirements, define scope, implement, and trace requirements throughout project lifecycle.
Design, develop and maintain project plans and schedule projects implementation activities.
Track and review project progress, planned vs actual variance, corrective actions & updates
Develop program and project budgeting requirements, monthly and yearly forecasts.
Budget initiation, expense tracking, verification, periodic reporting & project budget closeout
Manage project related approvals, reporting and communication requirements.
Ensure compliance of applicable processes and procedures for project Management
Liaise with business and other stakeholders ensuring team alignment for key project decisions.
Identify project risks, assess & plan mitigation risk actions, control, and track risks.
Prevent issues proactively and address current issues timely as per the defined control actions.
Organize review meetings, testing / training sessions and requirement elicitation workshops.
Develop and manage project documentation and reporting requirement defined and
governed by IT PMO for each project phase and obtain project phase exit decision approvals.
Ensure all projects are implemented with high quality deliverables, timely execution and completion within the defined budget and providing maximum value to end users.
Maintain and report portfolio projects status on Enterprise portfolio management platform.
