Qualifications 

Bachelor Degree in Safety, Marine Engineering/Science/LPE or related subject with Industrial safety certification from a Professional body (NEBOSH) either Nebosh National/ International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or higher (BSc., PgCert, pgDip, MSc.)

Knowledge and/or Experience

10 years varied experience in safety operations within the oil  and gas industry including Offshore/Subsea Pipeline Installation /Diving Operations working knowledge.
Minimum of 05 years experience in a supervisory capacity of  health & safety management & Specific experience in managing EPCI type contract & and have good understanding of O&G safe work practices. 

Knowledge and proficiency in HSE Regulations and Best practices (OSHA, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SOLAS IMCA requirements i.e. Diving & Lifting).

Taproot© Root Cause Analysis or internationally recognized equivalent.
OPITO BOSIET or T-HUET and Offshore Sea Survival.


Knowledge of Offshore Requirements for Lifting Operations
H2S awareness & mitigation plan implementation on Live Facilities.


Knowledge of International Oil & Gas Producers Reports (IOGP).
Behavioral Based /IIF Safety program.
