    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Auto Technician - Electrical (Heavy Vehicle) to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and other commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, and electronic control units (ECUs).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and Repair Electrical Faults:

      • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in heavy vehicles, including wiring harnesses, fuses, relays, and connectors.
      • Test and replace faulty components such as alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems.
      • Diagnose and repair faults in electronic control modules (ECMs), sensors, and onboard computer systems.
    • Maintenance & Servicing:

      • Perform routine electrical system checks and preventive maintenance.
      • Conduct battery testing, charging, and replacement.
      • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
      • Installation & Upgrades:
        • Install and configure aftermarket electrical components (e.g., GPS, telematics, lighting upgrades).
        • Assist in retrofitting electrical systems for fleet upgrades.
      • Documentation & Reporting:
        • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
        • Provide detailed reports on vehicle conditions and recommendations for further action.
      • Safety & Compliance:
        • Follow workplace safety protocols and industry regulations.
        • Ensure all work meets OEM and company standards.

      Qualifications & Skills:
      • Education & Certification:
        • Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Electrical or related field.
        • Certification from recognized automotive institutions (e.g., ASE, NVQ, City & Guilds) is a plus.
      • Experience:
        • Minimum [5] years of experience in heavy vehicle electrical systems.
        • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

        • Ability to work independently and in a team.
