Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Science majoring in Engineering in the area of specialization

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 8 years experience in DCS, Plant Shutdown System within Oil and Gas Environment. Preferrable in Plant Operation Simulator development.
  • Computer literate, with advanced knowledge of all relevant engineering software tools, systems and tools.
  • Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).

Key Job Accountabilities 

1. Plan and prepare work activities during the project phase to ensure a smooth completion of planned activities. 

2. Ensure control system engineering activities are conducted in accordance with company regulatory requirements. 

3. Ensure that the Engineering documents are reviewed considering Safety in Operabilty / Maintainability 

4. Ensure control system engineering activities during simulator development, model acceptance test (MAT), factory acceptance test (FAT), Installation, commissioning and project close out. 

5. Provide technical support during installation to to assure safe execution and company compliance. 

6. Resolve engineering issues that may arise and communicate with the Project Management Team (PMT). 

7. Support other engineers in complex analyses and assignments and provides expertise to ensure completion of activities within schedule. 

8. Mentor the National Developee as per the development plan
