Job Purpose
- Support the implementation of structured continuous improvement (CI), best practices, cost optimization and benchmarking by implementing execution plans and training modules for Onshore and Offshore Maintenance departments.
Reporting and Relationships - I
- Reports to Head of Maintenance Excellence.
Internal
- Frequent contact with Onshore and Offshore Operations, Maintenance, Engineering Group, HSE&Q, Supply and IT Departments and QGMS, Finance and Corporate Planning teams.
External
- Periodic contact with shareholders to leverage best practices.

Key Job Accountabilities - I
- Coordinate efficiency and cost optimization related projects in line with Continuous Improvement (CI) governance guidelines to support Maintenance department objectives.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary projects related to CI, cost optimization, best practice and benchmarking.
- Coordinate small to medium-scale continuous improvement projects related to maintenance activities.
- Develop and review relevant CI, cost optimization, best practice and benchmarking team presentations for the Operations Group.
- Identify bottom-up or top-down cost optimization and/or Continuous Improvement opportunities within Maintenance functions and provide stewardship through to implementation and long-term sustainment.
Key Job Accountabilities - II
- Develop or support data collection plans for projects, benchmarking exercises or adhoc activities; validate data and provide any relevant insights for management review.
- Coordinate change management requirements after project implementation to ensure sustained improvement.
- Participate in assessment and health checks of selected Maintenance function processes for continual improvement.
- Support the performance of situational analyses to define Maintenance strategic plans and objectives.

Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirement
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge and/or Experience - I
- 8 years work experience in the Oil or Gas industry within maintenance or engineering functions.
- Experience implementing CI programs and Six Sigma project completion.
- Experience in data analytics and the application/utilization of statistical software such as JMP or Minitab.
Knowledge and/or Experience - II
Technical and Business Skills - I
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Good presentation and facilitation skills.
