- Lead the Loss Prevention activities for North Field Expansion (NFXP) Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide design support to NFE Offshore Engineering Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards. Provide extensive knowledge and understanding on the requirements of ECPI, communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the contractor. Collaborate across disciplines (including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, Umbilical, HSSE and Risk), and monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the work scope.
- Ensure that the Contractors Loss Prevention Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering, and Gas and MEG Pipeline designs comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards.
- Provide guidance to the contractor to promote compliance.
- Plan and schedule the Loss Prevention engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Client operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
- Supports NFE Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractors progress on delivery of the required documents in the Loss Prevention of Topsides and Pipeline disciplines.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect the disciplines involved in delivery of the Loss Prevention related to Topsides and Pipelines Engineering and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
- Required Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, other qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as Loss Prevention Lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
- Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
