Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Natural Gas,Mechanical).

Knowledge / Experience

  • 10-12 years' experience in wellwork operations in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years' experience in rigless wellwork operations, either offshore or onshore wells.
  • Wellwork experience in high pressure, high temperature, and toxic gas wells in offshore environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the following well engineering disciplines: Wellhead, Tree & Surface Equipment, Subsurface Equipment, Cased hole and Production Logging, Well and tubular
  • design, Rigless wellwork equipment including Pressure Control Equipment, Well Barrier requirement.
  • Knowledge of software applications related to subsurface data acquisitions (Well View, Emraude, Saphir)
  • Familiar with Well Integrity Management: Sustained Casing Pressure Management, Wellhead/X-mas Tree and Down Hole Safety Valve Testing & Maintenance.
  • IWCF Level-4 certified.

Responsibilities

1. Develop the Annual Wellwork Plan interacting with Client Stakeholders and services companies. Continuously monitor the progress of wellwork and change/modify the wellwork

plan, if needed, with the concurrence of Client Stakeholders. Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore Operations, Maintenance Project teams, Drilling & Completions, Petroleum

Engineering, SEQ, Warehouse and other disciplines to maximize well utilization, minimize well downtime, efficient planning for execution of wellwork activities.

2. Prepare for all rigless wellwork operations in client wells to ensure all resources are available to implement the Annual Wellwork Plan in a safe and efficient manner. Develop technologically complex rigless wellwork ensuring safety of Client specialists and contractor personnel exposed to hazardous toxic gas.

3. Conduct pre-job meeting with Client stakeholders, contractors and service companies to ensure resource availability to implement rigless well work operations as per Annual Wellwork Plan. Identify the feedback from post-job review meetings and implement the findings in future wellwork and processes.

4. Coordinate with Client Supply Department for initiating wellwork contracts to ensure all wellwork services contracts are timely available to implement rigless Annual Wellwork plan.

5. Establish post-award contracts processes including Instruction to Proceed, Contractor Performance Evaluation, and release of Performance Guarantee. Examine contractor invoices, monitor expenditure of service contracts to ensure cost control of contracts.

6. Prepare/develop an effective Integrated Standard WellWork Intervention Manual (SWIM) to ensure all rigless well work systems and processes are technically sound and in accordance with Client and International standards.

7. Identify new technologies, tools and latest industry developments. Recommend continuous improvement initiatives through application of state-of-the-art technology and practices toimprove wellwork efficiency.

8. Conduct any well engineering studies assigned by Head of Well Engineering and recommend the most appropriate course of action.

9. Provide support to new Projects during project planning phase and initial start-up to ensure compatibility with Client design requirement.

10. Prepare annual budget & budget forecast for the division incorporating costs of planned rigless wellwork. Check rigless well work expenses against planned wellwork budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the annual wellwork plan
