Head Piping Engineering (W-1110)

Job Description Highlights:

• Verify the design and implementation of piping deliverables including large pipe sizes, large valves (e.g. control, motor operated, pressure relief, manual), cryogenic systems, high pressure steam and high pressure sour gas services including approvals of piping stress calculations and design of piping shoes, pipe hangers and weld joint design, G&A, plant lay-out and 3D model.
• Major challenges for this role are (1) effectively managing FEED Contractor and Piping Engineering team to deliver technical input in accordance with project requirements from contract award until EPC contract award; (2) maintaining constructive working relationships with FEED Contractor, its subcontractors and vendors to ensure delivery of workscope in accordance with project requirements and (3) maintaining relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Operations and SHE and Quality) to ensure alignment of Piping Engineering deliverables.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
• 15 years of experience at a senior Piping Engineering supervisory level with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities design, construction and operations. Experience with cryogenic piping systems design
