- 10 years systems completion/commisioning experience in the oil and gas industry with exposure to a major projects environment in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong experience working in ICSS, Instrument & Controls preferably in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
- Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
Key Accountabilities

- Ensure ICSS, Instrument and Control (I&C) activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
- Lead work execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Qatarenergy LNG operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
- Monitor the Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) purchase order with the EPC Contractor and System Vendor in accordance with the roles and responsibilities given in the contract to ensure safe and seamless integration of the systems without any disturbance to the existing operating facilities.
- Review Contractor planning and scheduling activities for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning to ensure coordination with other aspects of work.
- Monitor Contractor performance and provide advice as necessary to ensure design goals, philosophies and specifications are achieved.
- Review all documentation relates to Pre-Commissioning and Commissionig.
- Participate at site to ensure safe execution of Systems Completion activities and provide guidance on Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Turnover of equipment and systems as required.
- Develop and manage effective work packs, tools, commissioning plans to ensure a smooth and safe hand-over to permanent organisation.
- Lead and manage clear communication and reporting lines for all matters pertaining to commissioning for NFPS Offshore Project and ensure compliance with Project Management (QGPM) requirements.
- Coordinate and share lessons learned from previous projects and maintain a register of current lessons learned for use in future projects within Client .
