Qualification:

The candidate shall be a Bachelor degree (B.Sc.) graduate in Mechanical

Engineering and shall be IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors) or

equivalent approved and registered Lead Auditor for one of the IMS (Integrated

Management System) ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001, post-graduation and

International Professional Certifications in relevant Multi Discipline (welding, NDT,

painting ...) are preferable. Membership of a recognized Chartered or other

Professional Institution is preferable.

Experience:

Minimum of 20 years experience in Quality & HSE Management functions, relevant

design safety aspects, Environment and Quality management with exposure on

construction safety & quality for offshore oil & gas projects (from project initiation to

concept engineering, FEED, detailed engineering / EPIC phase). Experience shall

include at least 5 years in leading QHSE Functions / Senior position in Engineering

QHSE functions for projects in well reputed Oil & Gas Operator, Worldwide Third-party

Consultant, or EPIC contractors. It is desirable that candidate possesses other

professional qualifications relevant to quality i.e., ISO/ IRCA/ASME/ API/ NACE/ ASNT/

TWI /AWS etc.

Familiarity with QHSE and Environmental regulatory regimes, international safety &

quality engineering codes and standards. Experience in development of project QHSE

related plans, philosophies and specifications. Relevant skills in HSE & Quality

Studies, Environmental assessments, Project & HSE Risks Registers.

Exposure to Accident / Incident investigation, NCRs/CARs, review, and learning from

HSE incidents and non-conformities that occur within projects and business activities

and ensure implementation and close-out of preventive and corrective actions.

Experienced as auditor in key and critical QHSE compliance audits, inspections, and

reviews within the Departments and Contractors; develop and maintain consolidated

records, registers, Lessons Learnt Registers, Root Cause Analysis etc at department

level, and drive implementation and close-out of audits and inspection findings and

recommendations.

Extensive leadership skills to motivate and organise Project QHSE teams and

contractors HSE & Quality teams to achieve a high-performance level. International

management recognized bodies certificate, such as from Project Management Institute

(PMI), Association for Project Management (APM), or equivalents are preferable.


JOB DESCRIPTIONS


It is desirable that the candidate shall possess working knowledge in the manufacturing

inspection and certification processes for static equipment/piping/materials in capital

offshore projects. Sub-Sea pipelines, submarine cables, umbilicals and the associated

Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices. Working knowledge in construction,

welding and NDE is essential. He should be familiar with engineering specification of

other O&G majors in petroleum offshore Oil and Gas industry. Familiarity, in particular,

with Shell DEPs & QCS is an added advantage. The candidate shall be fully familiar

and experienced in QMS and Quality Control practices applicable to all the phases of

major Projects in Oil & Gas Industry. 8. Proficiency level in the use of the English

language (both written and spoken) should be high and should be in position to prepare

and present periodic reports on HS, Environment and Quality.

Work experience in the Arabian Gulf Countries is desirable.
