About the job SAP Business Analyst
Job Description
To analyze Systems Requirements, design and implement SAP (Systems Applications and Products) software programs for businesses to help them manage various areas of the company. To provide Product Support and Training to ensure the smooth operations and success of SAP programs.
1.1 Main SAP Roles:
Develop and Implement solution for level 1 & 2 support to business units.
Lead business unit in the implementation and usage of SAP with the best practices
Identify cost synergies through system functions implementation and benchmark solution with Client affiliates or Parent companies.
Strategize, develop, and support electronic data exchange for sales commission, credit risk, volume balance, inventory levels and spare parts exchange program interfaces.
Utilize SAP integration to minimize redundant data entry and SAP configuration to enable generic Boolean rule that simplifies decision making for the user.
1.2 SAP Projects Management & Contracts Support
Plan work effort and resource tracking; and develop scope of work (SOW).
Develop and manage implementation plan; and implement deployment strategy.
Maximize support contract Service Level Credit (SLC) versus the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Evaluate and perform cost benefit analysis on contractor's solutions; and approve contractor's solutions.
Manage and approve budgeted support hours and evaluate approved contractor's worked hours and quality of solutions.
Prepare performance review for monthly contractor meeting.
1.3 Business and Systems Operations Support
Support third parties users of our system (agents, warehouses, suppliers) and provide System Training to end users.
Analyze system master records procedure (e.g., material master catalog, customer master directory, vendor directory, employee details files).
Business consultant for system access roles and segregation of duties (SOD).
System consultant to enable business compliance with delegation of authority (DOA).
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering. Preferred Experience.
Required 5-7 years of experience in SAP project implementation cycles.
Required 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Preferred 7-10 years of experience in the Petrochemicals Industry.
MS Office Applications SAP Certification
Languages: Required: English proficient; Preferred: Arabic working knowledge
