- Lead the Structural Engineering activities for North Field Expansion (NFXP) Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide support to NFE Offshore Engineering Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
- Provide extensive knowledge and understanding on the requirements of ECPI, communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the contractor. Collaborate across disciplines (including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pipeline, Umbilical, HSSE and Risk), and monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the work scope.
- Plan and schedule the Structural engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Client operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
- Participate to key design workshop and ensure that Structural design recommendations are correctly implemented, and actions closed before the end of EPCI (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, 3D model reviews, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
- Supports NFE Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractors progress on delivery of the required documents in the Structural Eng of Topsides and Pipeline disciplines.
- Participates in inspections at fabrication yards and witnesses installation & acceptances tests.
- Required Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, other qualifications, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as Structural Lead , in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
- Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
- Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
- Good knowledge of electrical, instrument, telecom, piping, and mechanical equipment.
