About the job Contract Engineer

  1. Familiar and experienced with the administration of a contract,
  2. Familiar with the various contract terms and conditions, what they mean and what has to be done to protect the Company from detrimental provisions. Able to review incoming correspondence, in its various forms, be able to recognize a potential impact or change to the contract arising out of that correspondence and be able to draft a response to counteract the threat or at least alert the management to it and seek their direction as to how they want to deal with it.
  3. Understand the activities at site the technical aspects of the work, if not in detail, at least in a general way and be comfortable interacting with the discipline engineers in order to extract the data and explanations necessary to submit claims or draft defenses to claims.
