Job Summary

The Co-ordinator - Drug Supply primary is responsible for coordinating all the data flow professionally, accurately and timely throughout the Drug Supply Scope.

Key Role Accountabilities

  • Requires background knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
  • Documents and files all paper communication of Drug Supply from end to end.
  • Prepares and communicates the minutes of the drug Supply committee.
  • Coordinates all the drug supply team meetings.
  • Initiates correspondence as necessary to obtain requisite drug supply.
  • Examines, researches, enters data, files and gathers related information necessary to process drug supply activities from clinical pharmacy team and/or from procurement team.
  • Ensures confidentiality is maintained at all times, for example concerning issues of business sensitivity, personnel information and patient confidentiality.
  • Undertakes any other duties applicable to the grade/post as required.
  • Adheres to Clients standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.
  • Adheres to and promotes Clients Values

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Client, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

Work Environment

  • Work is normally performed in an office and hospital environment
  • No or very limited physical effort is required
  • No or very little exposure to physical risk

Educational Requirements: bachelor's degree in pharmacy

Experience Requirements:

Essential

  • 2+ years drug supply experience within a hospital/healthcare organization in Qatar or GCC
  • Demonstrated track record of experience with an ERP system (purchase & supply chain modules)

Preferred

  • 2+ years previous experience as a pharmacist
  • Experience using Oracle Fusion ERP system (purchase & supply chain modules)

Certification and License

Licensed Pharmacist in Qatar

Job Specific Skills and Abilities

Essential

  • Strong culture intelligence and teamwork competencies
  • Ability to keep and retrieve records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred:

Strong knowledge of regulatory affairs
