Qualifications

BSc. in HSE or related disciplines

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 15+ years of experience as a HSE professional including 5+ years in a second line management position
  • Recent (within the last five years) experience of HSE management on major projects FEED and EPC phases

Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but not limited to)

  • Support Safety Leadership Programs: Provide guidance and resources to Projects HSE managers to enhance safety leadership and implement effective safety programs.
  • Maintain HSE Interfaces and Relationships: Foster and maintain effective working relationships with PMT HSE, corporate HSE MP section, and other functional HSE teams to ensure cohesive HSE management.
  • Serve as MP Focal Point: Act as the main contact for corporate HSEQ matters, ensuring alignment and communication between MP and corporate HSEQ sections.
  • Support and Act for HSE and Risk Manager: Assist the MP HSE and Risk Manager in his duties and act on his behalf during his absence to ensure continuity in HSE management.
  • Monitor and Improve HSE Performance: Conduct audits, surveillance programs, and reviews to monitor HSE performance, and propose improvements based on performance indicators and assurance activities.
  • Consolidate and Report HSE Performance: Responsible for the comprehensive reporting of MP HSE performance on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, including reporting to corporate HSE committees and major project safety meetings.
  • Develop and Implement Lessons Learned Systems: Create and implement systems for capturing and applying lessons learned and best practices across all MP projects to enhance overall HSE performance.
  • Plan and Execute Safety Culture Initiatives: Develop and execute HSE and safety culture initiatives to ensure a safe working environment and promote a positive safety culture within the organization.
  • Lead and Support HSE Events and Summits: Organize and support large-scale HSE events and summits to promote safety, health, and environmental awareness, reinforcing a culture of welfare and worker care.
  • Drive Worker Welfare Programs: Implement and oversee worker welfare programs to prioritize the well-being of personnel, ensuring consistent practices across projects and proposing new well-being initiatives
