Senior Inspection Engineer - OES

Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or

material).

Knowledge and/or  Experience

Six (6) years experience in equipment inspection and assessment in  oil and gas operating facilities.

Knowledgeable to competent level in risk based inspection, corrosion/corrosion control and damage mechanisms.

Awareness of relevant plant processes and materials. Has knowledge to a basic level in the following inspection

technologies: ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), and familiar with advanced NDT. Has basic knowledge in welding engineering and welding technologies.

Conversant with relevant international codes and specifications. Knowledge to a basic level with hands on experience in fitness for service and remaining life evaluation of equipment.

Basic knowledge in incident investigation and root cause failure investigation.

Holds certification in either API 510, 570, 653 (as required).
