Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 10 years Oil and Gas experience, out of which 5 years experience in offshore projects commissioning and start-up and 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Key Job Accountabilities

  1. Lead Offshore Operations input for Cat-I/II/III Greenfield & Brownfield project facility reviews, including HAZOP and RAM studies to ensure the project design meets the company reliability and integrity requirements, including acceptable standards of Human Factor, Operability and Maintainability.
  2. Facilitate Risk Screening (RS), Formal Risk Assessments (FRA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFAs), Mitigate Volume Threat (MVT) review meetings. Maintain asset risk register and captures MOR actions until closeout.
  3. Coordinate with other Groups and Departments (SHEQ, Loss Prevention Engineers, Subsurface, Facility Engineering, Onshore Operations and Projects) to communicate important Operational input, including crucial technical and operational challenges and achieve resolution to current operational issues and any new project facility concerns.
  4. Manage Asset Issue Register, monitor and follow up of any Management of Change (e-MOC) or Interface Agreements (IA) tracking, this includes ongoing projects status, procedure modifications, safety performance, audit follow-up, Shutdown Scope Change Request (SSCR) control and tracking and Corrective Action Request (CAR) follow-up, to achieve asset performance targets.
  5. Facilitate the review process and criticality Assessment of all operating procedures and standing instructions for endorsement. Perform the role of Risk Management Coordinator (RMC) as specified in the ERM and MOR guidelines.
  6. Lead on the approach for opportunity identification, best practise implementation, priority setting, alignment across functions and alignment with the organization's objectives. Ensure that technical best practices are followed across the asset and liaises with Maintenance and Engineering personnel to review process studies for facility events.
  7. Advise on the development of commissioning and start-up procedures that facilitates an integrated start-up plan for all projects activities. Facilitate the asset input to Operations Readiness requirements, including Commissioning and Start-Up.
  8. Coordinate with projects and OES during Mechanical Completion of new facilities to ensure the System Completion process and start-up is executed in a safe and flawless manner, in alignment with Company standard.
  9. Facilitate Asset performance achievements against corporate objectives through Asset KPIs to ensure that performance is and remains consistent with corporate targets. Prepare weekly, monthly reports and input data for the quarterly and bi-annual communication forums and Asset performance Reviews.
  10. Ensure the follow up of all abnormal operating conditions and Production Loss Accounting System (PLAS) reports for the asset. Lead the identification of problem areas, or operating areas requiring change or alteration of a technical nature to meet varying operating conditions, determine severity of problems and develop solutions.
