An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated professional to join a global leader in surgical training solutions a company thats transforming how surgeons learn, practice, and improve patient outcomes across the world.

We are working with a world-renowned provider of advanced surgical training models and task trainers, supporting medical device companies, hospitals, and universities in over 80 countries. Their products and expertise help elevate surgical education and technical skill development on a global scale.

With established Business Development Managers across Brazil, China, India, Germany, Sweden, and the USA and strong operational support from headquarters in Switzerland and production facilities in Malaysia the company continues to expand its global footprint.

They are now seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager Europe to drive growth and strengthen their market position across the European region.

Role

The Sales and Business Development Manager Europe will act as a key representative of the company, responsible for developing strategic partnerships, growing market share, and advancing surgical education initiatives throughout Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary liaison between the company and European customers, distributors, and industrial partners. 
  • Leading strategic projects aimed at expanding market penetration and brand visibility.
  • Consulting with clients to enhance surgical training programs through innovative training solutions. 
  • Developing and executing targeted sales strategies that drive measurable growth. 
  • Collaborating closely with HQ, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and international business development teams. 
  • Representing the company at exhibitions, conferences, and professional association meetings.

Your Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, customer-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen and experience in the medical or surgical training field.

Requirements include:

  • Degree in Business, Pre-Med, or a related discipline, or at least 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the Medical Device industry. 
  • Strong understanding of surgical training and education, particularly within orthopaedics or musculoskeletal care. 
  • Demonstrated success in building and growing business across multiple European markets. 
  • A strong professional network within medical device companies, associations, or educational institutes. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in German, French, or Italian is a distinct advantage. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. 
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (approximately 30-60%). 
  • Personal traits include being reliable, open-minded, organised, team-oriented, and driven to achieve results.
