Role Overview
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help individuals achieve their optimal level of function and independence in daily life. This role requires experience working with both children and adults in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, schools, and home environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities and enhance quality of life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, and educators, to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies and tools for managing disabilities and enhancing functionality.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy practices and integrate them into patient care.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration
- Proven experience in occupational therapy, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with both children and adults.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a multicultural and island setting.

Compensation
- Monthly salary: 5,000 Cayman Islands Dollars (tax-free).
