Role Overview
As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life by diagnosing, managing, and treating foot and ankle conditions. You will work with a diverse patient base, addressing both routine and complex podiatric needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients foot and ankle conditions, including injuries, deformities, and chronic issues.
• Provide treatment plans tailored to each patient, utilizing both conservative and surgical interventions as necessary.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care for conditions such as ingrown toenails, ulcers, and infections.
• Educate patients on preventative care and management of foot health, including guidance on footwear and lifestyle changes.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including physical therapists, orthopaedic specialists, and general practitioners.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Stay updated on advancements in podiatric care and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice in the Cayman Islands.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Podiatrist, with expertise in treating both common and complex foot and ankle conditions.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
