The Clinical Nurse Specialist (Airway Management / Respiratory) is responsible for providing clinical expertise during product demonstrations and evaluations, driving product adoption through clinical education, and providing field sales training within the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Field Sales to provide technical and clinical support for customer appointments, product demonstrations, and evaluations.
- Attend patient cases, offering necessary information, and instructing physicians/clinical teams on the clinical workflow, benefits, and applications of the airway and respiratory product line.
- Assist in creating training content and conducting training sessions for the sales team to enhance clinical capability in the airway and respiratory arena.
- Support the creation of training content for various clinical groups to ensure comprehensive training on GlideScope products.
- Provide subject matter expertise in product and clinical technical competencies to address a wide range of questions regarding clinical airway and respiratory applications.
- Serve as a resource for training field sales reps within the EMEA region and other internal employees as required.
- Attend trade shows in partnership with product marketing and field sales teams as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of clinical experience or technical knowledge of airway management and bronchoscopy devices, either as an industry clinical representative or a member of hospital staff.
- Experience working with customers across multiple EU countries is preferred.
- Ability to create clear and concise business communications demonstrating deep understanding of the market and relevant products.
- Strong ability to synthesize and present product information in a detailed, accurate, and comprehensible manner.
- Extensive experience in clinical education and training.
- Continuous learning and improvement in clinical capabilities and product knowledge, including awareness of competitive offerings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with sales professionals and various customer types.
- Strong organizational skills for prioritizing, planning, and scheduling activities to accomplish objectives.
- Proficiency in common computer applications such as MS Office and CRM software like Salesforce.com.
- Must be insurable and possess a valid drivers license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
