We are representing a cutting-edge company in the field of electrochemotherapy. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Product Specialist to support the expansion of this innovative therapy within the UK healthcare sector.

Purpose of Role: The Product Specialist will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, particularly within the NHS. The role will involve the full lifecycle of business development, from identifying opportunities to project execution.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the growth and development of the business, with a focus on electrochemotherapy.
  • Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) across various oncological specialties.
  • Identify new opportunities, including clinical indications, client partnerships, and business development leads.
  • Create and maintain a strong network that fosters mutually beneficial opportunities for business expansion.
  • Work closely with KOLs to understand their needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with current clients, providing ongoing support and engagement.
  • Present products and solutions to new and existing clients, delivering effective sales pitches.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed on the latest developments in the field.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the companys product portfolio, the NHS environment, and market competition.
  • Continuously develop a pipeline of potential new accounts, ensuring consistent growth.
  • Provide detailed monthly reports on key activities, KOL interactions, market trends, and CRM updates.
  • Represent the company at both national and international conferences, with some weekend travel required.
  • This role is predominantly field-based, with frequent travel across the UK and some travel to international locations.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on sales or business development.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work well within a team environment.
  • Scientific background or willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new developments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
  • A solid understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to develop deep product knowledge.
  • Degree-level education, ideally in a science-related field.
  • Disciplined, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to manage a busy and varied calendar.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Strong networking and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
