Business Development Manager – Indonesia
medtechrec is partnered with a global orthopaedic medical device manufacturer to appoint a Business Development Manager in Indonesia. This role is responsible for leading market-expansion initiatives, developing distributor partnerships, and strengthening surgeon adoption across key orthopaedic and sports-medicine product lines. The position requires a commercially driven professional who can combine strategic planning with hands-on market execution and relationship management.
Responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing commercial and market-growth strategies.

Identifying, appointing, and managing distributor partners across Indonesia.

Building strong relationships with surgeons, hospital stakeholders, and procurement teams.

Leading pricing strategy, tender management, and contract negotiations.

Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and reimbursement conditions.

Supporting training workshops, clinical education programs, and product launches.

Delivering accurate sales forecasting and market-performance reporting.
Candidate profile:

Commercial experience in the Indonesian medical device market (orthopaedics preferred).

Strong distributor-management and channel-development experience.

Ability to work autonomously within a regional or international structure.
