Medical 1 is a leading healthcare staffing agency and we are working for our client, which is an organization dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the residents of Tennessee. They are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified  Hospitalist Physician to join their team at  a new Facility in Tennessee 

This role provides comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients. You will work closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide inpatient care to hospitalized patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions

- Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

- Monitor and assess patients' progress, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them about their conditions and treatment options

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care

- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction

- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of hospital medicine and participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Tennessee

- Minimum of 3years of experience as a Hospitalist Physician

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Proficient in electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
