Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical

Summary:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Department: Critical Care Unit
  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• ​Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ​Acuity Adaptable Unit - 1900-0730 RN Med/Surg will be taking care of medical/surgical overflow patients, will take an ICU or Step Down RN if willing to have a medical/surgical assignment up to a 1:5 ratio. No artificial/acrylic nails and nails must be short (<1/4 ), EOW, EOH; at least 2 yrs experience; may need to float to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional license at time of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of Experience as a Travel Register Nurse.
