Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine team in Lewiston, Maine.

Position Details

• Hospital-employed position at Central Maine Medical Center.
• Hospital Medicine role providing inpatient care for adult patients.
• Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
• 0.8 FTE schedule on a 12-hour shift.
• Perform history and physical examinations and ongoing patient assessments for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with hospitalists to develop and manage inpatient treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory studies.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Active or eligible Maine NP or PA license required; BLS and ACLS required.
