Orthopedic Surgeon (Ortho Trauma & Total Joint Physician)

Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon (Ortho Trauma & Total Joint Physician) to join our growing orthopedic surgery team in Lewiston, Maine.

Position Details

• Hospital-employed position at Central Maine Medical Center, a designated trauma center in central Maine.
• Full-time, on-site Orthopedic Surgery role.
• Orthopedic Surgery (BC or BE); fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma and/or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty preferred.
• Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care including fractures, dislocations, and musculoskeletal emergencies.
• Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasties including hip and knee replacements.
• Provide pre-operative evaluation, surgical intervention, and post-operative follow-up care.
• Participate in orthopedic trauma call coverage.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, ICU, rehabilitation, PAs/NPs, physical therapy, and ancillary services.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Maine required.
