Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Saint Francis Hospital, a hospital-owned facility and part of the Prime Healthcare system, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Hematology/Oncology team. This is an excellent outpatient opportunity to provide comprehensive cancer care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence.

What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care, including assessments, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and monitor treatment response.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care team members.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and supportive care.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed NP in the state of Illinois.

• Board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

• Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred; new grads with strong oncology RN backgrounds considered.

• BLS and ACLS required.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills.

• Bilingual in Spanish or Ukrainian is 

  a plus.
