Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join its hospital-owned multi-specialty group in Redding, California. This is an excellent opportunity to practice outpatient primary care in a supportive, patient-focused environment with strong clinical support and a balanced schedule.

The incoming provider will deliver comprehensive primary care services across clinic locations, supported by an integrated healthcare system and multidisciplinary care teams.

Position Highlights

  • 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts)
  • No weekends and no call responsibilities
  • Practice across on-campus and nearby satellite clinics (10–15 minutes apart)
  • Focus on chronic care management and internal medicine patients

Shasta Regional Medical Center is part of a hospital-owned multi-specialty group providing comprehensive care across Northern California. The primary care team is supported by clinical staff, care coordinators, and specialty services, allowing providers to focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The practice offers access to diagnostics, specialty referrals, and hospital resources, creating a seamless continuum of care.

  • Provide primary care services for patients of all ages
  • Manage chronic conditions, preventive care, and acute visits
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Practice across multiple outpatient clinic locations

Schedule

Full-Time

  • 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts)
  • Outpatient-only schedule

What We're Looking For

  • Active NP license in good standing (California or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in primary care preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care

Compensation

  • Base salary up to $160,000 annually (negotiable) plus productivity bonus
  • Health insurance: self-funded EPO (HMO) at no cost to provider
