Locum Interventional Cardiologist

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois, in partnership with Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group, is currently seeking a Locum Interventional Cardiologists to join our team. This is a full-time direct locum opportunity to work within a leading, innovative cardiovascular program committed to delivering exceptional care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Position Details

• Direct Locum opportunity
• Directly with Prime Illinois Medical Group (Not through an agency)
• Will be covering 10 to 12 days of 24-hour shifts in the Aurora, Illinois area.
• Will be handling 8 to 10 consults/day
• 2 STEMIs/month
• Read ECHOs
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary team with strong physician support
• Access to cutting-edge cardiovascular technology and advanced treatment options
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
• Focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• State-of-the-art cardiac facilities with full imaging, catheterization, and surgical support

Qualifications

• Board Certification is not required
• Active medical licensure in the state of Illinois
• Commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based cardiovascular care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Will pay per shift rate + Travel and Lodging
