Saint Marys of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois is currently seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology team at Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group. Position Details

  • Provide direct patient care under physician supervision
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Manage hematology and oncology patients, monitor treatment response, and adjust therapy accordingly
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide side effect management
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate high-quality care
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EMR
  • Located in the heart of Chicagos Ukrainian Village

Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Illinois
  • Board Certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred
  • Oncology RN background required for new graduates
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual skills in Ukrainian or Spanish are a strong plus

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
