Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Gastroenterology (GI) team. This full-time, purely inpatient opportunity offers the chance to work alongside board-certified gastroenterologists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of digestive health conditions.

Position Details

  • Full-time employment
  • Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm
  • Inpatient only role
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and review medical histories
  • Manage chronic GI conditions including GERD, IBD, IBS, and liver disease
  • Collaborate closely with GI physicians in both clinical and procedural settings
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural counseling and medication management
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system
  • Modern facility in a diverse community with convenient access to major highways

Qualifications

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois
  • Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP
  • Minimum of 12 years of NP experience, preferably in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
