Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join its program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a solo practice setting with strong inpatient demand, supported by a collaborative hospital environment and established referral base.
The incoming physician will provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient GI care, with a heavier emphasis on inpatient consults and procedures.
Position Highlights

- Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Practice Overview
Roxborough Memorial Hospital is part of the Prime Healthcare system and serves the greater Philadelphia community with a wide range of medical and surgical services. The GI program supports a steady flow of consults and procedures, offering physicians the opportunity to build and maintain a high-volume practice.
The position offers autonomy within a supportive hospital environment, with access to specialists and ancillary services.
What You'll Do
- Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care
- Perform EGDs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs (if trained)
- Manage GI consults and ongoing inpatient care
- Collaborate with hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in shared call coverage
Schedule
Full-Time
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call
- Every other week call (negotiable)
- Every other weekend coverage (negotiable)
What We're Looking For
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Strong procedural skills; ERCP preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Compensation
- Base salary: $350,000 (negotiable based on experience)
- Productivity bonus based on collections
