Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our dynamic womens health team! As part of our state-of-the-art facility, youll deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population, from routine gynecologic services to complex obstetric cases, in a supportive and innovative environment.
Our OB/GYN department thrives on collaboration, integrating with our Certified Nurse Midwives, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and Level II NICU team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. With access to advanced technology, including robotic surgery and 3D ultrasound, youll have the tools to practice at the forefront of womens health while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.
Position Details
- Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group, a hospital-affiliated, multi-specialty group
- Full-time | Dayshift Schedule (8 am-5 pm)
- Provide a mix of obstetrics and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform deliveries and surgical procedures at our hospital facility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including midwives, nurses, and support staff
- Shared call rotation for work-life balance
- EMR system in place for streamlined charting and care coordination
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active or eligible for Illinois medical license
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing comprehensive womens health services in a community-focused setting

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $330,000-350,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
