Position Details

  • Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group
  • Full-time | Dayshift schedule
  • Provide full-scope midwifery care to low-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients
  • Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
  • Participate in hospital deliveries and rounds
  • Educate and counsel patients on family planning, wellness, and preventative care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) license in the State of Illinois
  • Masters degree from an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program
  • Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
  • BLS and NRP certification required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $100,000-$115,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
