Epic Cardiology Group is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join its established cardiovascular team serving the Los Angeles market, primarily based at Centinela Hospital Medical Center with additional coverage at St. Francis Medical Center. This opportunity offers a high-volume interventional practice with strong STEMI exposure, collaborative physician support, and a defined 3-year partnership track with long-term earning potential.

The incoming physician will join a collegial cardiology team while building a busy procedural and clinical practice across two Prime Healthcare hospitals in the Los Angeles area.

Position Highlights

• High STEMI volume (approximately 90–120 STEMI cases annually)

• Mix of interventional procedures and general cardiology

• Collaborative team of 3 Interventional Cardiologists and 1 General Cardiologist

Practice Overview

Epic Cardiology Group provides cardiovascular care across Prime Healthcare hospitals in the Los Angeles region. The program supports a busy interventional cardiology service with strong hospital resources and consistent STEMI volume.

The incoming physician will practice primarily at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, with periodic coverage and rounding at St. Francis Medical Center as needed. Physicians benefit from strong hospital support, an established referral network, and a collaborative cardiology team.

What You'll Do

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures and general cardiology care

• Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology services

• Participate in STEMI call coverage

• Work a Monday–Friday clinical schedule

• Take every other week call rotation

• Round approximately two weekends per month at St. Francis Medical Center as needed

• Collaborate closely with cardiology colleagues and hospital-based specialists

• Combination of inpatient, outpatient, and procedural responsibilities

Call

• Every other week call rotation

• STEMI coverage required

What We're Looking For

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiology with Interventional training

• Comfortable managing STEMI call responsibilities

• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative mindset

• Open to new graduates

Compensation

• $400,000 – $450,000 annual income guarantee (Years 1–2)

• Productivity bonus structure during Years 1–2

• Physicians retain earnings above productivity threshold

• 65% of collections beginning Year 3

• Retain all STEMI stipends

• 3-year partnership track

• W-2 employment in Years 1–2 with transition to 1099 in Year 3

• Malpractice insurance coverage
