Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing Surgery Clinic team! This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a well-established outpatient setting.
Position Details
- Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group.
- Full-time | Dayshift schedule | Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient
- No call responsibilities
- Serve as 1st Assist in operating room
- Collaborate closely with a team of physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff.
- Manage your own patient panel with opportunities for continuity of care
- 2 years experience required
Qualifications
- Licensed and certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience seeing patients in the clinic setting and serving as a 1st assist in the operating room.
- Prior experience in general surgery preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000.00 to $135,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
