CDL Class A Driver Job. Local Mon-Fri start 5:30pm. $1,400 Weekly w/5K sign on.

Job Description 

• Holiday Pay: After 90 days of service for 6 major Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day & 4th of July).
  • Drivers must be active (not on leave)
  • Drivers are not required to work Holidays. Days surrounding holidays are FCFS.
• PTO: Accrual starts on the 1st day. Time off is accrued in real time
  • New/rehire – 1.85 hrs accrued/wk = 12 PTO days/yr
  • 1+ years – 2.46 hrs/wk = 16 PTO days/yr
  • 6+ years – 3.23 hrs/wk = 21 PTO days/yr
  • 14+ years – 3.69 hrs/wk = 24 PTO days/yr
  • 19+ years - 4 hrs/wk = 26 PTO days/yr

POSITION/FREIGHT DETAILS:

• Uniforms
• Hazmat Cert optional - reimbursed upon proof/receipts
• Approx 50% D/H and 50% Live
• 100% of freight is on Intermodal Chassis/Container
• 5% of freight is Reefer/TCI freight

TRUCK SPECIFICATIONS/PARKING:

• Drivers operate day cabs. Avg age of the fleet is 2.5 yrs
• Most drivers slip seat. Slip seating is required if needed due to start time
• All drivers will park their tractor/POV at the office.
• Automatic, mostly freightliners with safety technology.
• All drivers must abide by NO SMOKING policy while inside the truck, smoking allowed outside of the truck.
