About the job Local CDL Class A Yard Jockey Truck Drivers. Weekends Off. 1st Shift
- Basic yard duties - moving trailers in and out of dock
- Driver will be responsible for spotting upwards of 40-50 trailers per day
- Responsible for performing yard checks multiple times a day for inbound deliveries
- Required to perform safety inspections on all trailers prior to backing them in for loading
- Responsible for making minor repairs (lights, mud flaps, etc.) when identified on written safety report (DVIR log)
- Transporting trailers/trucks to & from the maintenance shop for repairs (shop is local)
- At times they may be required to help load, stack, or restack a trailer of product if the product has shifted
- Monday to Friday shift
- Weekends off
- Home daily
- Start time between 10am to Noon
- 8-10 hour shifts
- $25.00 per plus overtime after 40 hours
- 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
