About the Role
As a Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in life-saving interventions, utilizing the bypass machine in critical situations to support pediatric patients. We offer full relocation for candidates that are outside of the Houston area.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care through comprehensive assessments, treatments, and education.

  • Operate as a key member of a specialized ECMO team in emergent, high-acuity settings.

  • Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment and discharge plans.

  • Assist in clinical decision-making, continuous process improvement, and patient advocacy.

  • Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and Texas Board of Nursing standards. 

  • Serve as a mentor, preceptor, and resource to less experienced staff helping grow the next generation of exceptional care providers.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.

  • Active Texas RN license or compact license.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required per unit.

  • Experience in high-acuity, pediatric, or ECMO settings strongly preferred.

  • A deep commitment to excellence, compassion, and team-based care.
