Water Resources Engineer 

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced professional to lead and grow a portfolio of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and manage water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects
  • Oversee construction administration and project execution
  • Conduct site visits and participate in client and public meetings
  • Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule
  • Prepare proposals, scope-of-work documents, and contract estimates
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and industry networks
  • Mentor and manage team members to support professional development

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Kentucky
  • 10–15 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and construction administration within a consulting environment
  • Strong technical expertise in water resource engineering
  • Experience in planning, design, bidding, and construction phases of infrastructure projects
  • Proven project management and leadership skills
  • Experience in proposal development and client service management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Newforma preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
