Work Structure

Key Duties

  • Support senior attorneys on coverage and bad faith cases
  • Conduct legal research and prepare coverage opinions
  • Handle Examinations Under Oath (EUOs)
  • Draft and litigate declaratory judgment actions
  • Manage communications with clients, insured parties, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests
  • Assist in trial and deposition preparation
  • Review medical and billing records for pre-suit matters and support settlement negotiations
  • Contribute to handling multiple-claim cases
  • Maintain organized and accessible case files

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar admission
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in coverage and bad faith
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Capable of meeting billing targets
