Position Overview

Work Structure
- Employment Type: Full-time, exempt
- Setup: Hybrid (Jacksonville, FL or Boca Raton, FL)
- Practice Focus: Coverage, Bad Faith, Litigation
Key Duties
- Support senior attorneys on coverage and bad faith cases
- Conduct legal research and prepare coverage opinions
- Handle Examinations Under Oath (EUOs)
- Draft and litigate declaratory judgment actions
- Manage communications with clients, insured parties, and opposing counsel
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Assist in trial and deposition preparation
- Review medical and billing records for pre-suit matters and support settlement negotiations
- Contribute to handling multiple-claim cases
- Maintain organized and accessible case files
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar admission
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in coverage and bad faith
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Capable of meeting billing targets
