Field Marketing & Clinical Support Role

Role Overview

A licensed vocational nurse is needed to serve as a Hospice Liaison, combining clinical expertise with outreach and relationship-building. The role focuses on expanding awareness of hospice services, supporting referrals, and improving access for patients and families.

Schedule & Location

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Territory: Marin County, California

Core Responsibilities

Referral & Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources
  • Identify new referral opportunities to support program growth
  • Strengthen ongoing partnerships within the community

Patient & Family Engagement

  • Conduct initial discussions with patients and families
  • Explain hospice services and care philosophy clearly and compassionately
  • Support consent and admission processes

Clinical & Team Support

  • Collaborate with liaison teams to gather patient clinical information
  • Assist with admissions and community outreach activities
  • Serve as a clinical resource for sales and referral partners

Marketing & Awareness

  • Participate in outreach and awareness activities
  • Support efforts to position hospice services as a preferred choice in the service area

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records and CRM updates
  • Submit timely reports to support regulatory and operational requirements

Account Insights

  • Identify key accounts and provide feedback on opportunities and challenges
  • Share insights with leadership to support growth strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license
  • At least 1 year of hospice clinical experience (2–3 years preferred)
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service preferred
  • Valid driver's license with insured, reliable vehicle

Compensation

  • Hourly range: $40 – $45 (based on experience and responsibilities)
  • Final compensation determined after interview process
